Yes. For your peace of mind and ours, we have a 2 million dollar liability insurance and are licensed to operate in Ontario. We’re happy to provide documentation upon request.
We keep our team small and our overhead low. We don’t have a large office, a fleet of vehicles, sales reps, or massive marketing budgets. By staying lean, we can offer the same high-quality materials and craftsmanship at a much more competitive price point.
A great paint job requires great preparation. We don’t just paint over problems. We sand, scrape, caulk, and patch holes as needed to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish. If we find large significant damage, we’ll discuss the best fix with you before moving forward.
We ask that you move small breakables and clear off any tabletops or shelves with anything fragile. We’ll move the large furniture into the center of the room, we will cover it securely with fresh plastic to keep everything protected from paint.
Protection is our first priority. We use high-quality drop cloths, plastic sheeting, paper and painter's tape to cover all furniture, fixtures and flooring, even carpet. We aim to leave your home cleaner than we found it.
We usually include the cost of premium Sherwin-Williams, or Benjamin Moore paint in our estimates to ensure the best finish and durability. However, if you have already purchased paint or have a specific brand you prefer, we are more than happy to work with what you provide. Just remember a lower quality paint will require more coats, and therefore more time, which you will have to pay for.
For large projects, we require a small deposit to secure your spot on our calendar and cover initial material costs. The remaining balance is only due once the job is finished and you are completely satisfied with our work. But for small jobs, like an individual room for example, we do not require a deposit.
We can take payments in many forms. Cash, Cheque or Interac E-Transfers are our preferred methods. We can also accept many credit cards, apple pay & google pay but they include a 3% fee :( We can provide you with a paper and/or e-mail receipt for all transactions, whichever you prefer.
Every project is different, but a standard interior room, ceiling, walls and trim, usually takes 1 day, while a full exterior can take 5 or more days, depending on the size and prep work required. We will give you a specific timeline during your estimate.
We will not be doing any exterior painting in the winter months. Exterior painting is weather-dependent. We monitor temperature and humidity closely to ensure the paint bonds correctly. If the forecast looks risky, we will communicate with you to reschedule for the next day when the weather is appropriate.
